A bundle with a view! Issue 113 and limited edition fine art print for only $30.

We are thrilled to commemorate the OA’s vibrant, expansive future and our sustained commitment to Southern storytelling with these fine art pieces. Choose between a limited edition fine art print or a poster of the Summer Place Issue cover, sold separately or paired with a copy of the issue.

This limited-run 11x14 print features art by Dinorá Justice, whose piece Collage 18-03 - after Matisse’s “Yellow Odalisque 1937” covers the Summer Place Issue. The work is from a series of portraits Justice began in response to “the biases regarding traditional associations of nature with the feminine,” she writes, which allows for the continued “subjugation and exploitation” of nature. Her work encompasses the issue’s exploration of Southern landscapes, waterways, and borderlands, evident in Neesha Powell-Twagirumukiza’s journey to Georgia’s coast and Lauren Stroh’s reflections on Hurricane Laura.

Issue 113 marks the first helmed by Danielle A. Jackson as editor-in-chief, inaugurating a new and momentous era for the Oxford American. Jackson is the first Black editor-in-chief in the OA’s twenty-nine-year history, having joined the magazine as managing editor in February 2020.

This limited edition 11x14 print features Dinorá Justice’s Collage 18-03 - after Matisse’s “Yellow Odalisque 1937”, which covers the Summer Place Issue. Her work explores environmental impacts, like those observed by our writers in this issue, with essays and stories spanning from Georgia’s coast to the Texas borderlands.

Prints will be delivered in plastic wrapping with cardboard packing.
