The Oxford American is dedicating our 28th annual Music Issue to exploring and celebrating the Big Easy’s sonic complexities. We want to find hidden stories in the city’s 300 years of musical history; want to know what’s happening today on its many venerable stages; and want to glimpse what it has in store for the future. 

Featuring a curated collection of songs that capture the perpetual jubilee of New Orleans, the limited-edition vinyl LP is available for a small shipping and handling charge; all issues include a digital download code, as well as liner notes so you can read while you listen.

Pre-orders of the New Orleans Music Issue will ship in mid-November, and the issue will be available on newsstands later in the month.
